This Daffodil

This daffodil wants to play

She wants to feel the sun on her skin

The rain on her hair, she wants to laugh with glee

Sugar, spice and honeybee. She wants the joy, the pain

and laughing in the rain.

She enjoys being spanked, or slapped or liking it rough.

She wants you and she wants you a lot. Think about that buster!!

Restless

Siren blaring in the distance

too late to be up too soon to get up

restless mind running hundred miles a minute

with sluggish attempt to get out of bed

felt like a million years of dread

from last night till dawn.

Ordinary day…

Weekend is here at last! And the sun is out. Wow…! that is not ordinary at all in the Pacific Northwest on the 2nd day of March. But since nature has gifted us with a gorgeous sunny day, I will enjoy it with gusto!

For starters, I prepared a delicious and simple fruit salad for breakfast and a strong cup of coffee. Sat in front of my laptop and now writing a short but sweet paragraphs on this sweet blog of mine.

So, what is my point to all these you ask? Well, I am enjoying and celebrating a beautiful day after all the snowy gray days we had since the beginning of February. First weekend in since the beginning of the year we had a sunny day. Big deal? For me it is.

Poetry

In the early dawn a poem was born

a spawn from lovingly sewn words

into a beautiful tapestry.

The flowers in the meadows speak poetry…

proudly presenting its colors with vivid display

of poetic words.

Then there are the stars brightly lit across

the otherwise darkened sky

gilding it with eccentric words

only poets could ever describe.

Peace

Seek and you shall find

from here, there up to distant land

a very important quest

a vision you were searching

something you were missing.

Perhaps a place of refuge

a costly source of calm.

You wandered from the tallest mountain

to the bottom of the sea.

My friend if you start looking inside you

perhaps you may find the Peace you were seeking

because its been inside you all along.

This morning…

Back from a short break! Flew in this morning from a short but lovely vacation. Right now am trying to get re-acquainted with the weather.

So, how is everyone? If I may ask.

As for me I’m exhausted but I’m happy and rejuvenated spiritually and my soul is excited to be able to write and read again. This is another Sunday for me, sitting at home and thinking of stuff to write about.
