We were

Together, we pushed the boundary like some Indie song playing on the radio. A man’s heart vulnerable, exposed like leaves heavy with winter snow. Pleading for his lover to stay and play among the crowd just outside of the city by the bay.

Together, we ignited the night sky, lighted it with fire. Together, we serenaded everything. We were bigger than the symphony. Excess was our way of life, unstoppable floats on high over a man-made sky.

Together, we were invincible, until we fell hard on a man-made venom.
